Caliph Stork: A Fairy Tale Adventure for the Whole Family
On November 18, 2026, Caliph Stork brings a fantastical children's theater experience to Augsburg. The story, based on the fairy tale by Wilhelm Hauff, combines magic, humor, and suspense on a journey to the Orient – ideal for young audiences and families.
When a Spell Changes Everything
A curious caliph is transformed into a stork by a mysterious spell. Together with his loyal companion, he embarks on a quest for the saving magic word. Along the way, the characters encounter an enchanted world, dangerous trials, and a cunning sorcerer.
Theater with Imagination and Atmosphere
The production focuses on a lively stage performance, clear character depiction, and a fairy-tale atmosphere. Dialogue, movement, and scenic dynamics bring the audience right into an adventure between palace, magic world, and Orient. For children, it creates an immediate concert experience without a concert – filled with suspense, humor, and plenty of room for their own imagination.
A Family Afternoon Full of Magic
Caliph Stork is aimed at a young audience while also appealing to adults who wish to experience classic fairy tale theater together with their children. The story is about courage, friendship, and the power to never give up even in difficult situations.
