Oscar in Augsburg: Comedic Chaos with Pace
On November 15, 2026, the turbulent comedy Oscar at the theater in Frauentorstraße will provide an evening full of misunderstandings, surprising twists, and pointed dialogues. The performance begins at 18:00 in the stage at Kolpingsaal.
A Morning That Goes Completely off the Rails
In the home of soap manufacturer Pierre Barnier, the day begins with an unusual demand: employee Albert Leroi is asking for a utopian salary increase while also requesting the hand of Barnier's daughter. When an additional 34 million goes missing from Barnier's own cash, the family chaos begins.
Suitcases, Lies, and Big Misunderstandings
Claude Magnier's cult comedy thrives on fast-paced boulevard theater, quick dialogues, and a game of misunderstandings where nothing stays in its place for long. Suitcases change hands, jewels and provocative lingerie add to the chaos, while family relationships get more and more tangled.
