Open Stage Augsburg: Where every performance becomes a stage moment
On Friday, November 13, 2026, the Kulturhaus Kresslesmühle in Augsburg will once again transform into an open resonance space for surprising talents, bold ideas, and immediate audience reactions. The Open Stage Augsburg begins at 8:30 PM and combines music, comedy, literature, film, dance, magic, and other forms of performing arts into an evening full of diversity.
An open stage full of surprises
The dramaturgy of this format unfolds live before the eyes of the audience: each number sets a new accent, each performance changes the rhythm of the evening. Between musical moments, comedic punchlines, literary miniatures, and unconventional performances, a stage experience develops that thrives on spontaneity and direct closeness.
Moderation with a sense of improvisation
The evening is hosted by Dr. Andreas Garitz. His moderation gives the open format structure while preserving the playful character of the event. Musically, show organist Rüdiger Frank accompanies the happenings and creates a changing soundscape between performance, transition, and surprise.
Kulturhaus Kresslesmühle as a vibrant venue
The Kresslesmühle is one of the traditional socio-cultural centers of Bavaria. In the historic cultural house, cabaret, music, and theater intersect. The unique theater atmosphere of the house connects cultural history with an open, audience-friendly stage practice.
