On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Congress at the Park will open its doors for the 52nd Augsburg Press Ball. Under the motto Black is Beautiful, this traditional event combines festive ball culture with live music, dancing atmosphere, club experience, and a diverse party line-up until the early morning hours.

Glamour, Beats, and Music on Multiple Floors

The doors open at 6:30 PM, and the ball opening follows at 8:00 PM. Starting at 7:00 PM, the Thilo Wolf Big Band will provide musical brilliance in the ballroom with swing, jazz, pop, film music, and crossover sounds. In the Grand Foyer, Glamour Chief will play, while Charlie Glass at the piano in the Champagne Foyer creates an elegant lounge atmosphere.

Alphaville as the Musical Highlight

At midnight, Alphaville will take the stage in the Grand Ballroom. The German pop icon brings global hits like Big in Japan, Sounds like a Melody, and Forever Young to Augsburg, connecting generations with timeless music.
