The 3 Christmas Little Stars: Heavenly Christmas Magic for Families

When on Sunday, November 29, 2026, the lights are dimmed at the S-Planetarium Augsburg, a fairy-tale journey to the stars begins. In The 3 Christmas Little Stars, children aged five and up, together with their families, experience a warm Christmas tale under the planetarium dome.

Three Little Stars and a Big Task

Shortly before Christmas, the old Master Star calls the three smallest stars of the Milky Way to him. Their task: They are to help the six great winter constellations with their Christmas cleaning so that they shine in full glory in the sky on Christmas Eve. This task leads to a child-friendly family experience full of light, fantasy, and winter anticipation.

A Story About Hope and Compassion

As the three little stars fulfill their heavenly task, they also look down at Earth. There, they discover not only happy faces but also sadness, sickness, and hopelessness. The story combines Christmas spirit with important themes such as compassion, comfort, and willingness to help. Children encounter these topics in a gentle, age-appropriate learning experience.

Astonishment Under the Starry Sky

Dome-filling projections, lively texts, and impressive music allow the children to immerse themselves in a luminous world. The planetarium makes astronomical topics accessible for children and awakens curiosity about stars, constellations, and the universe. Thus, the performance combines emotional stories with playful learning fun and shared time.

Well Prepared for the Family Experience

The age recommendation is five years. The S-Planetarium is accessible and has two wheelchair spaces in the dome. For a relaxed visit, timely ticket purchase is advisable, as the seating capacity is limited to 70 people for fire safety reasons. No admission is possible after the start of the performance.

The 3 Christmas Little Stars offers families a atmospheric planetarium experience with children's laughter, wonder, and a valuable message about hope and togetherness.
