Rescue of the Star Fairy Mira: A Magical Journey Through Space

At the S-Planetarium Augsburg, families can look forward to a fairytale space adventure: The Star Fairy Mira has been kidnapped by the evil wizard Urax and urgently needs help. Together with the children, Christiane and Christian embark on an exciting journey through the universe to free Mira.

Children's Laughter Under the Planetarium Dome

Sun, moon, Saturn, and a comet become stations of an imaginative journey. The children do not just passively experience the story but are invited to participate. They assist in the rescue mission, recite magical spells, and playfully discover first astronomical connections.

Aged-Appropriate and Visually Gentle Design

The program is particularly aimed at children of preschool age and is recommended for ages 4 and up. Instead of a fully animated 360-degree film, visitors will experience an animated picture story, with images appearing on the moving planetarium dome. This format is especially suitable for younger children as it provides a calm and child-friendly learning experience.

Imagination, Curiosity, and Collaborative Learning

The rescue of the Star Fairy Mira blends family experience and learning fun. Children develop curiosity about the starry sky, experience collective action, and immerse themselves in a story about courage, friendship, and willingness to help. For parents and grandparents, it creates shared time filled with wonder, bright star constellations, and many conversational impulses about outer space.

A Trusted Learning Place for Families

The S-Planetarium Augsburg sees itself as an extra-curricular learning location where science and research are conveyed in a child-friendly manner. The age-appropriate design, clear age recommendation, and interactive storytelling concept create a protected environment for curious children starting from age 4.

Conclusion: Families can expect a calm, imaginative, and interactive planetarium experience full of stardust, adventure, and learning fun. Those who wish to embark on a rescue mission with little space fans can experience a special journey under the dome of the S-Planetarium Augsburg on November 6, 2026.
