With Glucks on an adventurous flight journey
A talking airplane, a brave apprentice, and an unusual quest: In Glucks, the High-flyer, the audience experiences imaginative children's theater for ages 4 to 10 and adults at the Cultural Center abraxas.
A mission full of wonder and children's laughter
Chief Engineer Dr. Düse sends Glucks on a quest to find a rare spare part. Along the way, she is allowed to use Flubert, a talking airplane that accompanies her on a journey through various regions of the world. The search leads to surprising encounters, new impressions, and many adventures.
Child-friendly theater with imagination and fun learning
The production combines movement, acting, audio production, and imaginative props into an age-appropriate learning experience. Children playfully discover themes such as courage, perseverance, orientation, and problem-solving together. Glucks's journey invites everyone to stay curious and seek new solutions even in challenging tasks.
Quality time for families
The Clowness Theater targets children in elementary and preschool age as well as their adult companions. The manageable duration of an afternoon visit, the vivid story, and the humorous character of the talking airplane create a warm family experience filled with wonder, excitement, and shared time.
Important notes for families
For safety and liability reasons, children may only participate if accompanied by an adult. Parking spaces at abraxas are limited; taking public transport or biking is recommended. Designated seats in the front row are available for people with mobility impairments. A wheelchair lift can be used after prior contact with the abraxas office.
Conclusion: A theater adventure that takes off
Glucks and Flubert take families on an imaginative mission around courage, friendship, and the joy of discovery. Those looking for child-friendly theater with lively characters, educational value, and a lot of imagination will enjoy a special family afternoon in Augsburg.
