Between Hamburger School and fresh beginnings

Since the early 1990s, The Stars have shaped the German-speaking indie scene. Their music combines pointed lyrics, bouncy grooves, and a distinctive orchestration between indie pop, post-punk, and rock. With the new album If It’s Love, the band opens another chapter in their long band history.

New songs, old classics

In Augsburg, current pieces meet central songs from the Stars cosmos. In addition to material from the new album, concert guests can look forward to the typical Stars sound: striking guitars, driving drums, precise synchronization, and Frank Spilker's characteristic stage performance. The classic What Has Ruined You So Much? also belongs to the musical history that connects the audience with the band.

An evening concert with attitude and energy

The live atmosphere of The Stars thrives on tension, ironic distance, and immediate audience mood. The concert combines musical precision with a raw club closeness: dry sound, clear rhythms, and lyrics that oscillate between social observation, pop history, and personal reflection. The Kantine provides the fitting urban setting for this.

The new album as the focus of the tour

If It’s Love was released in 2026 and brings familiar indie pop moments together with new sound colors. English passages, post-punk influences, and unexpected stylistic turns expand the repertoire. The single I Do Not Accept the Position makes a powerful statement with its striking riff and driving beat.
