Stars of Classic: Classical Music Under the Starry Sky

On November 22, 2026, the Augsburg Planetarium will transform into a cosmic concert stage. Stars of Classic combines timeless masterpieces of classical music with fascinating dome images and takes the audience on a musical journey from the beginning of the universe to a possible future of humanity.

When Beethoven Resonates Through Galaxies

Beethoven, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, and other masters of classical music form the sonorous core of this music show. Their works accompany the formation of galaxies and stars, the birth of Earth, and the development of life. Orchestration, spatial sound, and visual dramaturgy merge into an extraordinary concert experience.

A Stage That Reaches to the Horizon

The planetarium dome opens an impressive space of images: supernovae, black holes, comets, and colliding galaxies unfold over the audience's heads. The synchronization of music and visuals creates an intense live atmosphere where light, movement, and sound become a shared cosmic narrative.

Music Show Without Spoken Words

In Stars of Classic, music is the focus. No spoken passages interrupt the musical flow; brief astronomical explanations appear as on-screen texts. This keeps the staging concentrated and allows room for wonder, emotional audience mood, and individual imagination.

Classics, Astronomy, and Great Imagery

The event is aimed at everyone who wants to experience classical music in an unusual setting. The age recommendation is 12 years. In the interplay of masterful compositions, dome projections, and astronomical themes, a cultural evening emerges between concert, music show, and visual journey through space and time.

Conclusion: An Evening of Concert Between Stardust and Symphony

Stars of Classic awaits visitors with grand melodies, spectacular celestial images, and an atmosphere that extends far beyond an ordinary concert hall. Those who want to experience classical music with all their senses should mark this evening at the Augsburg Planetarium and embark on the journey through space live.
