Sound of Schwaben brings fresh Augsburg sounds to the stage
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the billiard hall in the Kurhaus Göggingen transforms into an intimate concert venue for new voices from Swabia. At Sound of Schwaben, Sasko's energetic indie-pop meets the rough garage rock of Atlantis Beach Motel in an immediate live atmosphere.
Indie-Pop with Jazz Color and Distinctive Vocals
Sasko combines danceable rhythms with jazz elements, powerful melodies, and emotional lyrical depth. Saxophone, bass, guitar, and vocals shape the sound of the Augsburg band. The musical orchestration creates space for distinctive voices, dynamic transitions, and a stage performance that oscillates between rhythmic pressure and emotional moments.
Garage Rock, Stoner Vibes, and Flickering Energy
Atlantis Beach Motel focuses on bold riffs, driving drums, and a distinctive mix of garage rock, stoner vibes, and a pinch of surf. The sound evokes flickering heat, sticky vinyl floors, and loud rehearsal spaces. Raw, catchy, and direct, it creates a concert experience with plenty of movement in the soundscape.
Living Room Atmosphere Instead of Great Distance
The concert series Sound of Schwaben deliberately opts for smaller spaces and personal encounters. In the billiard hall of the Kurhaus Göggingen, around 80 guests experience the acts particularly closely. The reduced environment focuses on sound, audience mood, and the tension of the moment. Doors open at 7:30 PM, the concert begins at 8:00 PM.
Free Entry for Musical Discoveries
Entry is free, but seating is limited. The District of Swabia and the City of Augsburg provide a stage for regional newcomers with this concert series, allowing the audience to discover emerging acts live early on.
Conclusion: Sound of Schwaben promises a concert evening between indie-pop, jazz elements, and powerful garage rock. Anyone who wants to experience new music in a personal atmosphere should mark October 17, 2026, and be early at the Kurhaus Göggingen.
