Skampida brings Colombian energy to Augsburg
On Saturday, February 13, 2027, the Ballonfabrik Augsburg transforms into a vibrant meeting point for Ska, Reggae, Cumbia, HipHop, and Punk. Skampida from Bogotá combines Colombian folklore with urban Rock-Mestizo and ignites an energetic live atmosphere starting at 8:30 PM.
Rock-Mestizo between Cumbia and Punk
Skampida's sound thrives on contrasts: driving Ska rhythms merge with Reggae grooves, edgy Punk attacks, and the rhythmic warmth of Colombian Cumbia. There are also HipHop influences and a stage performance that breaks musical boundaries rather than explaining them.
More than 25 years of stage experience
The five-member band was founded in Bogotá and developed into an internationally touring formation. After more than 1000 performances in Latin America, the USA, Canada, and Europe, Skampida has shared the stage with The Skatalites, Dead Kennedys, and Manu Chao, among others.
A discography full of movement
Albums like Stereoblaster, Inflammable, Transmutante, Rebelation, and Antifaz Vinilo showcase the musical evolution of the group. The orchestration remains open to new impulses: brass colors, powerful rhythmic work, and a direct sound connect tradition with modern urban energy.
Live in the Ballonfabrik
The organizer Karman e.V. invites you to the Ballonfabrik at Austraße 27. Doors open at 8:00 PM, and the concert starts at 8:30 PM. Amid flickering stage lights, thunderous bass, and the collective pulse of the audience, a concert experience arises that invites dancing and sets the winter evening in motion.
Conclusion: Bogotá meets Augsburg
Skampida stands for international live music with attitude, rhythm, and real stage energy. Anyone wanting to experience Ska-Punk, Reggae, Cumbia, and Latin American sounds in an unusual mix should celebrate this evening live in the Ballonfabrik.
