Room To Move brings jazz, chanson and blues rock to rheingold
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Room To Move will perform at rheingold in Augsburg. The band from Augsburg and the surrounding area combines jazz, chanson, and songs from various genres into a versatile live program with a distinct sound.
Between Jazz, Chanson, and Rock’n’Roll
Room To Move represents musical openness and a careful selection of special pieces. Often, less well-known yet high-caliber songs are at the forefront, making the concert a journey of discovery for a curious audience. Jazzy harmonies, bluesy tension arcs, and the narrative power of chanson meet a lively stage performance.
Tom Waits as a Distinct Focus
A special focus of the program is on the music of Tom Waits. Room To Move interprets his songs not as mere copies but develops their own musical perspectives from them. Free arrangements, changing dynamics, and individual orchestration give the pieces a new form without losing their rough character.
Live Atmosphere at rheingold
The rheingold in the historic textile district provides the perfect setting for a concert evening with intimacy, character, and musical attention. Between warm club ambiance and direct stage sound, there is room for nuanced improvisations as well as powerful grooves. The audience's mood thrives on the alternation between focused listening and spontaneous enthusiasm.
An Evening of Concerts for Open Ears
Room To Move is aimed at everyone who does not pigeonhole jazz, blues, chanson, and rock'n'roll into rigid categories. The program combines familiar musical roots with surprising twists and shows how versatile a live set of well-known and newly discovered songs can sound.
Anyone who appreciates handmade music, strong arrangements, and an immediate club atmosphere will experience a concert evening with a personal touch at rheingold. Room To Move invites you to not only hear the music but to discover the nuances live.
