Woodwind Sounds for the Grand Finale of the Hochzoller Cultural Days
The 20th Hochzoller Cultural Days conclude on Sunday, November 1, 2026, with a special concert evening at the Church of the Twelve Apostles in Augsburg-Hochzoll. The Augsburg Woodwind Quintet, comprised of members of the Augsburg Philharmonic, will present a diverse final concert under the title "A Journey Through Woodwind Chamber Music".
Chamber Music with Tonal Precision
Five wind instruments come together and unfold a rich soundscape in the church space. The fine tuning of woodwinds and brass, precise synchronization, and differentiated dynamics make woodwind chamber music an immediate concert experience. Every note, every breath, and every musical twist gains special significance in the church's acoustic atmosphere.
A Journey Through Woodwind Chamber Music
The program promises musical diversity and showcases the expressive possibilities of a woodwind quintet between transparent linearity, warm ensemble sound, and virtuosic stage performance. The musicians combine detailed chamber music work with experiences from the orchestral operations of the Augsburg Philharmonic.
