Dub à la Pub brings Reggae vibes to the Ballonfabrik Augsburg
On Saturday, January 9, 2027, Dub à la Pub transforms the Ballonfabrik in Augsburg into a pulsating meeting point for Reggae, Dub, and Ska fans. The concert evening begins at 8:30 PM, with doors opening at 8:00 PM.
Roots-Reggae meets Dub, Ska, and Funk
Since the end of 2006, Dub à la Pub has stood for a distinctive sound between Roots-Reggae, Dub, and Ska. The Augsburg band combines groovy bass lines, driving rhythms, and catchy melodies with influences from Jazz, Funk, and Rock. This creates a varied orchestration that rolls relaxedly while consistently moving forward.
Brass pressure and live energy
On stage, a powerful rhythm foundation meets striking brass colors. Drums, bass, keyboard, and guitars give the songs their warm, bouncy sound, while trumpet and trombone provide additional dynamics. The English-language vocals and contemporary, profound lyrics complete the stage performance.
An Augsburg band with international festival experience
Dub à la Pub has established itself as a fixed reggae figure in Augsburg and the region. Performances at European reggae events such as Rototom Sunsplash, Summerjam, Reggae Geel, and the Sardinia Reggae Festival are part of the band's history. In 2011, the group won the European Reggae Contest, drawing regional attention to their characteristic mix.
Audience vibes with offbeat guarantee
The live atmosphere thrives on flowing grooves, synchronized brass, and a sound that oscillates between relaxed offbeat and danceable energy. This creates a concert experience at the Ballonfabrik for all who want to not only hear reggae but also feel it physically.
Conclusion: Experience Reggae from Augsburg up close
Dub à la Pub promises an evening of Roots-Reggae, Dub, Ska, and cross-genre sound palettes. Anyone who wants to experience the Augsburg band in a concentrated club atmosphere should mark January 9, 2027, and enjoy the concert evening live at the Ballonfabrik.
