AUXBURG JAMSESSIONS with Ersin Erkan at the Jazzclub Augsburg

On Tuesday, November 24, 2026, the Jazzclub Augsburg will open its stage for a new edition of the AUXBURG JAMSESSIONS. Under the leadership of Ersin Erkan on guitar, spontaneous improvisation meets a focused club atmosphere. The concert is scheduled to start at 20:30, with doors and box office opening at 19:30.

Improvised Jazz with an open outcome

A jam session lives in the moment: themes arise, rhythms shift, and musical ideas develop right before the audience. The guitar forms the sonic centerpiece while interplay, reaction, and musical synchronization shape the evening.

Up close to the sound

The Jazzclub Augsburg is situated in a stylishly renovated cellar venue in the city center and accommodates around 100 guests. Digital lighting and sound technology, a concert grand piano, a Fender Rhodes piano, and a drum kit create the suitable infrastructure for a vibrant stage performance. The compact room acoustics bring every dynamic turn immediately into the hall.

Meeting point of the Augsburg jazz scene

The Jazzclub sees itself as a promoter of jazz and regional musicians. At the AUXBURG JAMSESSIONS, active club members and interested musicians come together for an open musical exchange. This creates a concert experience between jazz tradition, sonic risk-taking, and real audience closeness.

Conclusion: Experience jazz live before the moment passes

The AUXBURG JAMSESSIONS promise an evening full of spontaneous twists, direct communication, and intense live atmosphere. Those who love improvised jazz, guitar sounds, and the special energy of a small concert club will experience music without a safety net and with plenty of room for surprises at the Jazzclub Augsburg.
