AUXBURG JAMSESSIONS: Improvised Jazz with an Open End

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the Jazzclub Augsburg will transform into a vibrant laboratory for spontaneous ideas, fine dynamics, and immediate live atmosphere. The AUXBURG JAMSESSIONS will start at 8:30 PM and connect a specially assembled session formation with an open stage for musicians.

When the Moment Sets the Beat

The opening will be led by the session leadership under the direction of Andi Bauer on bass and Bastian Walcher on piano. The first set creates the musical framework of the evening before the stage opens after a short break for newcomers. New tonal colors, surprising dialogues, and improvised arrangements emerge right in front of the audience in changing formations.

Jazz Between Groove, Interaction, and Risk

A jam session thrives on attentive listening and quick reactions. Motifs wander through the band, the rhythm section gives impulses, and every turn changes the musical direction. Orchestration, synchronization, and stage performance arise not from a rigid sequence but from the encounter between musicians and the audience.

Intimate Club Atmosphere in the Jazzclub Augsburg

The Jazzclub Augsburg, as a registered association, stands for regular live concerts and the promotion of jazz in the city. In the modernly furnished club on Philippine-Welser-Strasse, concentrated sound, short distances to the stage, and an attentive audience atmosphere come together. Drinks and light snacks accompany the concert experience in a relaxed environment.

Conclusion: The Stage is Set for Jazz

The AUXBURG JAMSESSIONS offer an evening full of musical openness, spontaneous turns, and true closeness to the events. Those who want to experience jazz not only as listeners but to witness its creation live will find the perfect place on November 3, 2026, at the Jazzclub Augsburg. Arrive early, secure your spot, and experience the improvised concert evening up close.
